Lauren Barwick- Bridging the Gap, Bridging the Gap Advanced

Do you want to improve the level of communication, fluidity, balance, biomechanics, and understanding of the aids between you and your horse? These immersive clinics are for you!
Bridging the Gap and Advancing the Gap Horsemanship Clinics begin each day with a theory lecture, followed by a group mounted session which explores the concepts presented. This is followed by individual private/semi-private lessons in the afternoon. Lauren ensures that you understand what each refinement feels like. You will go home with a deeper understanding of the potential for what you and your horse are capable. Lauren likens her Bridging the Gap clinic to “speed dating.” “The idea is that I want you to leave with lots of concepts. I want you to get a feeling for these concepts so you can go home and play with them and make them your own.” ~ Lauren Barwick
Lauren introduces freely forward, transitions without reins, soft feel/soft touch, rhythm and relaxation, stretching, and biomechanics of horse and rider—as well as building confidence in horse and rider. Both the pleasure rider who wants to help their horse use themselves better, and the more advanced rider who wants to enhance their foundation in refinement, finesse and Dressage, English or Western, will greatly benefit. Learn elements to help you create a biomechanically correct horse for 10, 20 or 30 years!
Which clinic is right for you? Bridging the Gap (June 22 – June 24) is for those students who have not yet studied with Lauren, or those whose horses are not yet doing a lot of work at the canter. Maybe you and your horse need a refresher from an earlier Bridging the Gap clinic.
Advancing the Gap (June 24 – 26) is for those students looking to increase their understanding of the concepts Lauren introduces in Bridging the Gap, as well as for horses who are ready for more advanced work in both trot and canter.
Each clinic is 2.5 days, with the middle day overlapping (half bridging, half advancing).

Pricing:
Pricing is set to be all-inclusive of the clinic costs. Clinician fees, arena fees, and stall fees are all included in the basic clinic fee.
Stall fee includes bedding and hay. Shared turnout may be available. No dry lots available.
1 clinic (either Bridging the Gap or Advancing the Gap):
Basic Clinic fee: $650
Ladd Farm Adult Camp Package: $800*
Both Clinics (take both Bridging the Gap and Advancing the Gap back to back!):
Basic clinic fee: $1100
Ladd Farm Adult Camp Package: $1400*
*The Ladd Farm Adult Camp fee includes lodging (a bed in our shared bunk rooms, parking for your LQ horse trailer, or camping on site) and meals for you and one horse.
Auditors are welcome for $40 per day. No half days.
1-2 Private lesson days TBD. Cost $135 for non-clinic participants, $125 for clinic participants.
